American Cornhole gets involved with numerous fundraising opportunities from working with the Carson Palmer Cornhole Classic which supports the Lighthouse Youth Services, to developing one of our top ACO Pro events around a fundraiser that supports the Easter Seals Work Resource Center. It is with great pleasure that we add the Ichthus Ministries to our portfolio of worthy causes to be associated with.

In 1970 a year after Woodstock a professor and a group of concerned students looking for a way to be a change agent in their culture started the first Christian music festival. It is currently the longest running Christian festival in the nation.

Ichthus by using culture's tools has been able to transmit an alternative message. For nearly four decades, Ichthus has helped tens of thousands of students find Jesus Christ and respond to the destiny they have in Him.

This rising generation has great potential - they dream, create and reform the world that we live in. Ichthus works to clarify the messages of culture and the Gospel giving students the means to make good decisions.

American Cornhole has been invited to become part of this blessed event and hope that by adding our gaming activities we will only further add to the strength of the festival and what it stands for.

Learning that life really is a pitch!
I don't mean to brag, but I'm a lucky man. For over 2 1/2 years now I've....

...worked 60 extra hours a week at a second job that pays nothing but a few beers.

...mortgaged my house - again.

...burned through my retirement savings (don't tell my kids)

...tempted the considerable wrath of a very, very, very understanding wife (hi honey!)

And you know what? I wouldn't trade it for anything.

Being the president and founder of American Cornhole LLC and the American Cornhole Organization (ACO) means more to me than I can explain. I'm building the ACO for all the rabid cornhole players out there. People like you who love the sport as much as I do.

I want the sport of cornhole to be huge. Not county fair arm wrestling huge. I mean competitive eating huge. Ultimate fighting huge. The X-Games of the backyard.

Because I believe in it so much, I've made some sacrificies. Like weekends, two-ply toilet paper and untainted meat. Not complaining, just letting you know where I am coming from.

There's no way ACO ever gets done without you guys & gals. It just wouldn't happen. This blog is the story of how we're growing this sport together. I want to share the story and bring you along. Check in often to see what's going on. Cause we're in this together.

ACO needs charter members and $$$.

I'm sure my story could buy me a beer or two at the local pub. As tempting as that sounds, I'd rather have the money go to the ACO.
